D/TLD Requirements
To check implementation of the requirements for products, the supplier must perform and document a site-specific D/TLD self-audit independently every 12 months (with a validity period of 12 months) in accordance with the current requirements from VW D/TLD questionnaire.
- The date and report of the last performed self-audit D/TLD must be documented in the Supplier Board system.
- The obligation to perform the D/TLD self-audit begins with the first PPAP procedure of the commissioned product.
- The D/TLD characteristics that are subject to the verification are all CC characteristics as defined by product drawing specifications.
- If defects are detected during the audit, it is expected that the supplier will immediately implement necessary improvement measures independently.
- The supplier will check the implementation of the improvement measures and their effectiveness in a new D/TLD self-audit carried out independently.
- The results of D/TLD self-audits must be archived for at least 15 years and always kept available for verification of customer.
- At any time on request, the results of the D/TLD self-audits must be made available to the customer.
- If supplier is unable to meet requirements, it must notify immediately the receiving plants and contact person from Quality and Purchasing departments.
